Will it increase employee workload?
We have demo accounts available that can be customized, so setting up the SNS site can be achieved within a minimal time frame. We also offer an optional service in which we operate the site on your behalf once it has been set up.
What are the differences with groupware?
The main differences with groupware lies in the fact that SNS can be set up easily and that it is possible to share information both internally and externally. It is also not necessary to make individual settings at each separate location and operate via VPN, as is the case with groupware. It also enables all tasks to be carried out on the Web, so joint operations can be carried out by overseas sites and other companies.
E-mail is sufficient for sharing information, and we don’t feel the necessity for SNS.
It reduces the workload of managers in comparison with mailing lists. It also allows topics to be established by subject to facilitate debate. SNS also retains a history of all events when used as a substitute for mailing lists, and this means that it is easy to check everything and verify when new members joined.
Will we need to assign staff for administrative purposes?
There are no administrative tasks if our VPH (Virtual Private Network) is used. We also provide optional services to monitor negative buzz and administer to the community.
We don’t have any spare capacity in our in-house server.
A server on the user’s side is not necessary if our VPH (Virtual Private Network) is used.
We would like to use a language other than Japanese.
The system is equipped with a function to support the Japanese, English and Chinese (simplified and traditional) languages. We can also provide other languages if and when necessary.
GOL is currently operating two SNS systems: an authentic SNS for Chinese nationals residing in Japan and a family-type SNS that enables people to use English in Japan. The market is flooded with information and SNS systems for Japanese nationals, but there are very few places that provide information or allow information exchange for overseas visitors to Japan. We at GOL therefore came up with the concept of providing comfortable lifestyles within Japan based on the success that has already been achieved here and started up these two SNS systems.
An authentic SNS for Chinese nationals living in Japan. It is operated in simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese and Japanese so that not only Chinese nationals but also Japanese nationals proficient in Chinese can enjoy carefree participation. It is equipped with a user-friendly interface to ensure that even beginners can take full advantage of the various SNS functions.
Piqniq has been designed so that special groups, families and other members of the international community residing in Japan can find it easy to use.
The biggest feature is that, in addition to being equipped with all general SNS functions, users can add information and comments in English to information directories in locations that contain lists of companies, organizations, schools and other institutions that provide services.
