The need to retain a history of all transactions that are carried out with overseas branches.
Everything written in the SNS remains as a history until it is deleted to enable all past transactions to be verified.
Staff transfers and changing e-mail addresses makes mailing list management a tiresome affair. Is there any way this problem can be addressed?
The GOL SNS allows each member to be registered within a preferred group, so e-mail addresses are not necessary. Also, updates are automatically notified to all members when the group administrator amends information within the group, and this enables easy management by acting as a substitute for mailing lists.
The need to pass existing history data across to new members when they join.
Everything written by each group is stored as a history, and new members can access this information without trouble.
The need to address the problem of text garbling.
The GOL SNS uses the international character code known as UTF-8 as the default, and this enables text to be written in any language without the fear of garbling.
The need to have information on staff in overseas branches for reference purposes when starting up new projects.
The system enables photographs and profiles to be registered and viewed so other people can obtain information on everybody’s skills, technological capabilities, hobbies and ambitions, which is extremely useful when searching for project members.

This can easily be achieved with the GOL Japanese/English/Chinese Interface package which supports all three languages.
It is necessary to have company project managers as the group administrators within SNS, but very few of them are knowledgeable about SNS.
There is no need to have technological knowledge to be a group administrator, so anybody can assume this post without trouble.
Our internal server cannot be used.
As this SNS is provided with ASP, there is no need to use an internal server.
